Book club goes to bookeater
So my friends and I have this low-key book club, nothing too serious, just an excuse to read something fun and catch up over coffee. Lately, we’ve been exploring local bookstores with cozy, cute vibes.
Last week, we checked out The Bookeater, a charming little café-bookshop hybrid in Rochester, NY. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for, warm lighting, shelves packed with hidden gems, and comfy corners that make you want to stay for hours. The coffee? Surprisingly great. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.
I really appreciated that the book selection felt curated and unique. The titles on display weren’t ones I’d typically notice at a large bookstore, they weren’t lost in endless shelves. It felt like someone had handpicked them with intention, which made browsing way more inspiring. If you’re looking for a book that’s unique, this is definitely the place to go visit.
I also loved the café’s aesthetic, it was super trendy with all the cozy vibes I was hoping for. There were tables if you wanted to sit down for a bite, but also plenty of loungey corners perfect for curling up with a book. It had a nice welcoming tone, which is a total win for a chill weekend hangout spot.
